Travel health insurance for trips abroad
Unexpected illness or accidents during a business trip or holiday abroad can be costly. Travel health insurance covers medical treatment within the policy limits and provides assistance services. It is also commonly requested for visa applications.

Standard and Plus: what is the difference?
The Standard plan covers medical information, outpatient and inpatient treatment for sudden illness or injury, medical transport and repatriation of remains; under the current plan conditions the total of all covers is limited to EUR 30,000. The Plus plan adds, among others:
- Emergency dental treatment within limits
- Travel and accommodation for a relative if you are hospitalised for more than 7 days (accommodation up to 7 nights)
- Replacement of broken, lost or stolen glasses, contact lenses or prostheses
- Return home of accompanying children aged 15 or under while you are being treated
- Hotel stay after discharge from hospital abroad, within limits
Frequently asked questions
Is this policy accepted for a Schengen visa?
Schengen visa applications require medical cover of at least EUR 30,000 valid in all Schengen countries for the whole trip. We issue the policy with the dates and countries of your application and check it against the consulate’s requirements.
Does it cover existing illnesses?
Travel health insurance is designed for sudden illness and accidents during the trip. Treatment of conditions that existed before the trip is generally excluded; we explain the exact wording before you buy.
How quickly can I get the policy?
Usually the same day. Send us your passport details, travel dates and destination by e-mail or WhatsApp.
