Who can apply?
People aged 16 to 65 can apply. Coverage amounts can be set in Turkish lira or foreign currency, depending on your choice.

Covers apply only if they are stated in your policy. The policy may also include medical, home, vehicle and travel assistance services.
Assistance services included
- Medical: medical information, transfer to hospital or between hospitals, delivery of necessary medicines, travel and accommodation for a companion, and return home after treatment
- Home: organisation of a plumber, electrician, locksmith or glazier
- Vehicle: towing to an authorised service, hotel stay and rental car organisation
- Travel: pre-travel information line, tracing lost luggage, urgent return to work, advance payment for bail and lawyer costs
A 24/7 emergency line — its number is printed on your policy — organises help in Türkiye and abroad, including ground or air ambulance transfer to the nearest medical centre when needed.
Tax advantage
If you have income declared in Türkiye, personal accident premiums can be deducted from your income tax base within the limits of the Income Tax Law (No. 193). The limits change over time; we explain the current rules for your situation.

Is personal accident insurance the same as health insurance?
No. It pays benefits for accidental death, disability and accident-related treatment. For illness and general treatment costs you need health insurance.
