What is complementary health insurance (TSS)?
Complementary health insurance (Tamamlayıcı Sağlık Sigortası) is a state-supported product for people covered by Turkish social security (SGK). At private hospitals that have an agreement with SGK, patients normally pay an extra fee on top of what SGK covers. With TSS, the insurer pays this difference for you, within the policy terms.
This gives you access to private hospitals at a lower cost than private health insurance.

Prices depend on the cover, limits and additional services of each plan. Some plans are valid across Türkiye and others in selected cities; the number of covered doctor visits can also differ. We explain the current plans and prepare a quote.
